50 or so PR accounts to follow to get you started on Threads

UPDATE: yeah, this might be a list of 100 or so, instead.

Today’s the day – after a relatively short period of anticipation, and set against the backdrop of Twitter’s rate limits, verification changes and general chaos, Threads has launched.

I woke at 4am, annoyed that I couldn’t get back to sleep, and felt oddly excited as I got to grips with the app which will, to Twitter users in particular, feel familiar.

I’m seeing a lot of people talk about their feeds being filled with randoms. Mine was too, but that’s quickly fixable. As soon as I’d started to follow 50-100 people, from Instagram friends (less so) to Twitter mates, it became much more useable.

Here is a list of fift… one hundred or so Threads accounts of people working in/adjacent to PR to get you started and to sort that feed out, should you be in the market for them.

Threads is mobile-only currently, so bear that in mind when clicking through.

NOTE: If you’d like your account to be added to the list, add your details to this Google Sheets link here, under the names currently in there. All I ask is that you a) follow the format (full name, link to account), b) work in/around PR and c) don’t mess with formatting. I’ll re-order every hour or so.

Weirdly, you need to hold each link on mobile and open that way. If you know why that’d be (something to do with the app or my uselessness?), let me know.
