Digital PR: ‘Most Valuable Star Wars Memorabilia’ for LoveAntiques.com

We work with the antiques marketplace, LoveAntiques.com, on an ongoing basis – supporting it with PR for SEO results.

What we did:

We’ve worked with LoveAntiques.com for almost four years, offering PR for SEO for the antiques marketplace – building links from media sites with a high Domain Authority (DA).

PR for SEO

For this client we’ve had a lot of past success with Cash in the Attic-style personal finance stories – where we’d identify popular collectible items that people might own, along with the value of the item if people were able to sell the products on.

We know from past successes that our stories with a popular culture angle tend to work well too – so we decided to create a list of the most valuable Star Wars memorabilia!

We worked with a toy expert Marc Airey, who works at Hansons Auctioneers and is host of The Star Wars Toy Podcast, to come up with a list of the top 10 most valuable Star Wars memorabilia – with a guide cost.

It was revealed that the most expensive item was The Empire Strikes Back Darth Vader Helmet, worth £817,022!

We packaged the story up into a press release with the top five items detailed with a link to the LoveAntiques.com blog featuring the full list of 10.

We then issued the release to our relevant contacts – and it achieved great PR for SEO results!

PR results:

Outputs:

  • 136 pieces of coverage

Outcomes:

  • Every piece of coverage linked
  • Average DA across all coverage was 50
  • We achieved 16 links from sites with a DA of 60+
